On International Earth Day, we want to communicate the activities we are carrying out and invite you to participate in our commitments to the environment.
Preventing and mitigating the environmental impact is part of our responsibility. For this reason, we are concerned with achieving greater energy efficiency and a better use of natural resources, reducing the emissions and waste that we generate as a product of our operations, through greater control and systematic and more effective management of waste recycling. .
Raylex' Environmental Social Responsibility Committee informs that we have established great challenges and commitments:
Short term goals:
- Reduction of 50% of our carbon footprint by 2025.
- Be Carbon Neutral by 2030.
We invite you to participate in our commitments in the coming months:
- Reduce energy comsumption. Since April, the entire solar plant installed at Raylex's headquarters has been in operation.
- Reduce water consumption. Check and change keys with automatic cut-off and carry out controlled irrigation, at the most appropriate times.
- Recycling. Recycling of cardboard, plastic films and other products from imports or operations is maintained.
- Relaunch of the Recycling program in the office. The Program seeks to adequately separate and send to recycling for recovery the waste generated in the daily operation of the office.
- 3 clean points are established (Raylex, Raytech and Los Libertadores).
- For the success of recycling, all employees are required to help separate the clean materials that have been produced in the office and dispose of them in containers classified by waste categories.
- Recycling telematics induction. Scheduled for the month of May in order to reinforce these commitments and guide recycling management.
