During the month of September 2019, GTD Teleductos S.A. tendered and awarded Raylex Diginet S.A. the design, provision, installation and configuration of a 3,500-kilometer-long submarine optical transport network, between Arica and Puerto Montt, called “Prat Project”. This project was fully developed by Raylex in conjunction with our represented Infinera, who also provided the necessary equipment. This trunk communications network allows to provide quality, robust, flexible and scalable services.
This project, carried out by GTD, constitutes a milestone in the telecommunications industry in Chile, since it allows for two parallel communication plans for the country, avoiding communication disruptions in catastrophe situations.
During the month of October 2020 GTD Teleductos S.A. commissioned Raylex to expand the capacity of the Prat network, which was already in operation. Numerous projects in this Network are currently in the process of being quoted or implemented.
