Transelec S.A. As part of the companies in the electricity industry, it is obliged to deliver online information on the status and performance of the electricity transmission network it operates. This need for online information requires equipment associated with Transelec's systems to be able to collect and send information quickly, efficiently and securely.
Transelec awarded Raylex Diginet S.A. Phase 1 of this project consists of the implementation of local networks, within the Transelec substations, that allow the Protections to communicate with the Remote Protection Reading System (SLRP).
The scope of the Project considers the design, supply, assembly, installation, configuration and commissioning of the communications equipment in the Transelec substations. This implementation also considers supplying and deploying fiber optic networks within the facilities that require it.
Work is currently being done on the coordination of the project's field deployment processes, which is expected to be completed during the second half of 2021.
